Nigerian-American rapper and engineer RobOlu’s sound seems birthed out of some twisted laboratory run amuck. Bringing back what can be classified as “crunk trap,” he takes the distinction his music allows and makes it clearer and more convincing without leaving out any of the dirt and grime that makes his music so visceral.
