The latest video from Danger Incorporated is ostensibly a live clip shot during the duo’s recent Danger Reality tour, but watching the action unfold, the production reads more as a love letter to fans and the obsessive online culture that has fueled the group’s underground rise. The airy, hook-heavy cut is one of the highlights of the pair’s new EP, and while the video’s DIY approach can’t match the song’s expansive atmosphere, it does a good job of highlighting the dynamic bond between artist and audience. It’s precisely this good faith that makes the track’s closing refrain, “Let me help you feel something / Let me help you feel something else,” feel more like a mantra rather than an empty platitude, revealing one of the central pillars to the duo’s success: While most groups claw and kick to be king of the mountain, Danger Inc. seem happiest when they’re spreading the love.
