Before we get a chance to listen Marshes, the much-anticipated new album from Athens rocker Tedo Stone, the Georgia native will embark on a short, 13-date tour that will take him up the East Coast and through parts of the Southeast. With fellow Athenians Oak House joining him in support, the two groups will kick off their two-week trek on the last day of August with a hometown show at the Georgia Theater. The tour concludes on Sept. 12 with a record release show at the Mammal Gallery. However, local fans looking to catch Stone perform sooner rather than later can do so this Sunday night when he opens for Detroit’s Fly Golden Eagle at the EARL.
