PHOTOS: Julien Baker, Old Sea Brigade at Aisle 5

On Thursday night, Memphis-based singer-songwriter Julien Baker brought her dark and deeply personal folk songs to a rapt audience at Aisle 5. Playing in support was Ben Cramer’s project Old Sea Brigade whose hushed, intimate songs set the stage perfectly for Baker’s emotional bloodletting. It was a terrific night of brooding sounds and poetic words and our man Bryceson Center was there to capture these images.
