Buoyed by a classic funk-jazz beat courtesy of producer Chaden, RUDY strikes a fiercely positive tone, letting his listeners know that even in their darkest moments they’re never alone and that love and and support are always available for those who seek it. Given the subject matter, it would’ve been easy to have become consumed by the tragedy of his friend’s passing, but instead RUDY uses his platform to deliver a message of love and healing. “It’s saddening that some people feel the only way out of their misery is to take their own life,” he wrote on his SoundCloud page. “This song is dedicated to anyone who feels low and may even have thoughts of Suicide. You’re not as alone as you think. I care about you, we care about you.”
