Aaron Hubbard – Bass

Sounds Like: A savage kick in the teeth. Rude, belligerent, misanthropic hardcore that fluctuates between classic No Idea growl and grit and vintage ’80s punk that’s ready to fly off the rails. Raw as fuck but surprisingly tuneful.

Releases: The band’s debut EP, the four-song Unkooth, came out in December and is available as a name your price download via Bandcamp.

Mandatory Listening: The EP’s lead track, “Pick Pocket,” is a full-fledged bruiser of a song led by a sludgy noise rock riff and Gavin Caffrey’s barked exhortations. It’s a white-knuckled, jaw-clenching thriller that goes right for the throat.
