Given its previous episodes, you may have been under the impression that MVMENT focused solely on hip-hop, but that is not entirely the case as evidenced by this recent interview with Grocery on Home founder Matt Arnett. For listeners who may be unaware of GoH, it’s a former grocery store turned non-traditional venue that hosts curated performances in an intimate environment. Attendance for each show is limited to a small number of Facebook RSVPs, which has allowed the space to grow a beloved Grant Park music staple. Over the course of the episode, Arnett shares some of the history behind the venue, as well as some insights into its cultural relevance within the city.

As for those of you expecting to hear Konscious and the crew talk hip-hop, you won’t leave disappointed. After the interview, Ben shares his thoughts on Future’s eponymous fifth studio album, while Josiah wraps up the show with his latest Drake theories. Enjoy.
