After regaling us with the abstract experimentation of their wild debut EP, Good Golf, Suffer Dragon proudly extend their boundless joy of suffering on their latest single “All the Small Things Pt3.” Released back in April, the track appears on their one-song single, $50 Song, which is available for streaming or for $50 download (and not a single penny less) on their Bandcamp page.

“All the Small Things Pt3” is an avant-garde romp into the depths of a bioluminescent sea garden tucked between the hazed-out brain flaps of the Suffer Dragon power duo (Adam Babar and Daniel Betts of Faun and a Pan Flute) and the crystalline ballroom where they conjure their face-crumbling compositions. While only being 2 mins and 17 seconds long, the Frank Zappa and The Mothers of Invention inspired cataclysm of syncopated dissonance appropriates a finely-tuned tribunal for hearings. The track punctuates the wanton ear socket with a primordial ferocity reared upon staggeringly tight percussion, yelps, monotone banter and atonal guitar wheezes that stumble erratically like a drunken Kung Funk master with a peg-leg.

Suffer Dragon is a bastard chili, simmering in the essence of an all grass-fed plague with a new record to come on their outlandish purple horizon. So, keep your eyes peeled, be warned and stay attuned; for this dragon lurks aside the freshly combed pelt of French sewer rats, feeding off the dredges of the drain pipe.
